January Construction Activities

BASIC BID WORK ITEMS
- Jet Grouting
  - Completed jet grouting for Sewerline "A" pipe alignment from Pit A2 to Pit A1.
  - Sewerline pipe alignment from Pit A3 to Pit A4 in progress.
  - Pit A4 in progress.
  - Lay out and mark Pit A4 to Pit A8 jet grout columns for Sewerline "A" pipe alignment recently completed.
  - Additional jet grout crew mobilized to assist with jet grouting operations.
- Jacking/Receiving Shaft for Microtunneling Work at SMH A2 (Pit A2)
  - Contractor re-aligned tunnel machine to microtunnel from Pit A2 to Pit A1.
- Receiving Pit at SMH A1 (Pit A1)
  - Excavation work completed.
  - Exit ring installed.
- Through Pit A3 (SMH A3)
  - Pipe jacking from Pit A2 to Pit A3 completed.
  - Exit ring sealed until SMH 3 is constructed.
- Jacking/Receiving Pit A4 (SMH 4)
  - Sheetpiling recently completed.
  - Inclinometer casing recently installed.
  - Jet grouting in progress.
- Microtunneling
  - Microtunneling from Pit A2 to Pit A1 completed.
- PVC Pipe Installation
  - Scheduled to begin on the first week of January, 2010.
- Existing Utility Relocation
  - Temporary relocation of 18-inch drainline outside of Pit A4 area completed.
  - Temporary relocation of 6-inch waterline outside of Pit A4 completed.
  - Temporary relocation of 6-inch sewerline completed.

- Pothole Utilities
  - No potholing work done in December, 2009.
