TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Frank Coluccio Construction Co. will be repaving Kamehameha Highway / Hekaha Street intersection on Monday, June 28, 2010 to Friday, July 2, 2010. Phasing of work is as follows:

  • •Monday, June 28, 2010
  • •Two (2) Ewa bound shoulder lanes of Kamehameha Highway/Hekaha Street
    intersection will be repaved.
  • •Flow of traffic from Hekaha Street, Mauka bound, will be restricted to "right
    turn only".
  • •Ewa bound traffic on Kamehameha Highway will be contra-flowed into
    the two center lanes.

  • •Two (2) center lanes of Kamehameha Highway / Hekaha Street intersection
    will be repaved.
  • •Makai bound left turning lanes on Kamehameha Highway to Hekaha Street
    will be closed. As such, motorists are advised to make a U-turn on
    Kamehameha Highway / Kaahumanu Street intersection, then make
    a right into Hekaha Street.
  • •Flow of traffic from Hekaha Street, Mauka bound, will be restricted to "right
    turn only".

  • •Two (2) town bound shoulder lanes of Kamehameha Highway / Hekaha
    Street intersection will be repaved.
  • •Makai bound left turning lanes on Kamehameha Highway to Hekaha Street
    will be closed. As such, motorists are advised to make a U-turn on
    Kamehameha Highway / Kaahumanu Street intersection, then make
    a right into Hekaha Street.

  • •Two (2) inbound lanes of Hekaha Street fronting Cutter Ford will be repaved.
  • •Two (2) outbound lanes of Hekaha Street fronting Cutter Ford will be
    modified to allow one (1) inbound and one (1) outbound traffic.
  • •Flow of traffic from Hekaha Street, Mauka bound, will be restricted to "right
    turn only".

  • •Friday, July 2, 2010
  • •Two (2) outbound lanes of Hekaha Street near Cutter Ford will be repaved.
  • •Two (2) inbound lanes of Hekaha Street fronting Cutter Ford will be
    modified to allow one (1) inbound and one (1) outbound traffic.
  • •Flow of traffic from Hekaha Street, Mauka bound, will be restricted to "right
    turn only".
